LDOCE (InApp) App Reviews

I would gently ask you to remove and disconsider my previous review. In fact the app permits you to accede to a free upgrade by the sole press of a button. Probably I was not able to do that on account of a bad internet connexion. I apologise for my hurried ill judgement and thank for the developments which rendered the application even better.

That app is amazing!!! Best dictionary ever!

I use this app everyday and it help me a lot with my English classes. I just want to see some voice command improvements on next versions, as we do with Siri on iPad.

Não compre pois perdi meu dinheiro!! I bought one years ago, I went to install the new version and does not work "InApp" I sent email and the company does not respond!

Horrible system of in-app purchase! I spent a lot of money in this app and now they say I must send an email to activate it again! Why they dont just keep a "restore purchases" inside the app?? Furthermote, they dont answer the emails, like other people said. Im deeply dissapointed with this attitude.

I updated my application this morning, and after that the app is crashing and freezing all the time. Sometimes I cant even search for a word. Also it keeps showing a server error!! Dont update it.

I updated my app and after that I lost many of the bookmark words , mainly 2 words or phrasal verbs Customer service does not answer!Never

Makes you download the app to tell you that you must buy it to use...

Take care, this company will charge you more than one time, they will charge you for every change made in IOS system.

Need to fix a bug when download content

Does not work with iOS 8.0. When I downloaded iOS8.0, the app stopped working.

Very hardly you wont find a world here! All definitions are clear. Full of using examples. It is simply the best dictionary you can have.

This is the best version that you can find of this dictionary. Very complete, with lots of example sentences (in app purchase). There are some other vendors here using the same name of this dictionary (LDOCE6 with the light blue icon) that is just a subset of this version here. Dont waste you money. Buy this version (or any other from this publisher), because they are far superior.

Its a good dictionary but there are some bugs that need fixing.

From point of me the LDOCE is the best English dictionary available in iTunes Store. I use it almost daily and appreciate it very much.

Very bad app. Very bad support. 1st this app was nice and helpful. With the time the app got bad and worse. Slow execution of search. Hanging a lot in the menues. Seems as if some words are not properly stored in the offline modus or at least these words are not found. Further the app grow up and up and its taking a lot of space - 1GB - right now. Since the last updates there is no way to restore the app on a new or other device except contacting their very very bad app support. To restore the app they want you to send them sensitive data like mac address, wifi address, billing history, etc. I strongly recommend NOT to buy this app, dont do in app purchase!! Pay attention. Seems they just want your money.

Pretty good app, I like the ability to search for words alphabetically or with missing letters. Great job! However, the latest update sometimes removes the "Edit" button from the History tab. Its be nice if this were fixed. Thanks!

The app asks for Apple ID Authentication every single time I open it.
